This��Cub Cadet Mulch Kit 19A70041100 is designed for residential use on gasoline powered Cub Cadet mowers with a 42 inch deck.�� Mulching your grass clippings is a cost-effective and productive way to put key nutrients back into your soil.�� Keep in mind, while mulching is an environmentally friendly way to feed your lawn, you must cut a reasonable amount of your grass off to avoid clumping and heavy patches laying on your lawn.�� Too much will cause brown spots, disease, and could kill your lawn in those areas.�� A good rule of thumb is to cut off no more than 1/3 of the height of your grass.�� For example, if you grass is 6 inches tall, cut off no more than 2 inches; set you deck height to 4 inches to accomplish this.�� If you have very thick grass, cut off less than one third or try the 942-0616-X Extreme Blade.
